Seeing as Margate is the central town on the Lower South Coast of KwaZulu Natal it is an obvious choice as a holiday destination, and a firm favourite of those people looking for a break from the stress of everyday life. Margate's temperate sub-tropical climate, stunning beaches and close proximity to shopping malls, restaurants, nightlife and numerous sporting and other outdoor activities are just some of the reasons why so many people, both locally and internationally, choose Margate and the surrounding villages for their weekend breaks or their annual holiday getaway. All of these properties are well established and for the most part the bookings are handled directly by the owner of the property. The KwaZulu Natal South Coast is well known for it's wonderful beaches, sub tropical climate, good rock and surf (and deep sea) fishing and a host of other sporting and outdoor activities. With Margate being at the center of all the activity we have included here a little bit of info regarding Margate and the nearby villages to enable you to choose your destination carefully. The village is neat and tidy and well maintained with a small CBD to provide all your basic shopping and relaxtion requirements. It is an ideal venue for somebody looking for some peace and quiet.
